Flow drops first acts for 2025
Flow Festival, a renowned Finnish music festival, will take place in the heart of Helsinki from August 8 to 10, 2025. Set in the atmospheric Suvilahti, a former power plant area, the festival will showcase an impressive lineup of international and domestic talent. Confirmed highlights include Charli XCX, Khruangbin, Bicep, Beth Gibbons, Fontaines, D.C., and more.
English electropop star Charli XCX is set to perform at next year's Flow Festival. The artist, known for this summer's global 'Brat' phenomenon, has been among the most sought-after performers in recent years. Her innovative fusion of avant-pop, electronic dance music, and mainstream influences establishes her as one of the most bold and distinctive artists of our time.
More of the top international acts performing at Flow include Khruangbin, known for their dreamy grooves that blend psychedelic sounds and disco; Bicep from Belfast, who delivers melancholic trance and breakbeat-influenced music; Beth Gibbons, the singer of the renowned trip-hop group Portishead, who recently released a critically acclaimed solo album; and Fontaines D.C., known for their poetic post-punk sound.
In addition, the Swedish pop wonder Veronica Maggio, the experimental electronic music duo Autechre, and the Irish rap sensation Kneecap—known for their role in the film of the same name—will also perform at Flow. Montell Fish, who released his captivating album CHARLOTTE earlier this year, along with successful DJ/producers Joy Orbison and Avalon Emerson are also set to be part of next summer's Flow Festival.
Flow Festival showcases numerous performances by Finnish top acts. One of the most celebrated artists today, Sexmane, as well as the beloved band Pariisin kevät, known for their heart-wrenching songs, will return to the festival. The eclectic forerunner of Finnish rap, Melo, and the celebrated progressive rock band Saimaa will also perform.
The Finnish singer pehmoaino brings her special concert Sätkynukkekoti to Flow for the only festival gig of the summer and Regina, who returns to stages after a long hiatus, will perform their acclaimed album Soita mulle in its entirety. Other domestic acts include DJ Ibusal, who recently released his praised album Mukava Paikka, the enchanting ‘bedroom folk' duo Emma & Matilda, and the feel-good rap collective Good Boys.
