FKA twigs is one of the most important contemporary British artists with her unique and genre-bending style, pulling influences from various genres such as trip hop, art pop, R&B, hyperpop and electronic music. Since her debut album LP1 in 2014, she has built herself a reputation as an artist who moves in the pop cultural universe at her own speed and own terms by taking risks, blending opposite musical genres, and stretching the boundaries of her physical body.

The musical spectrum of the singer-songwriter-producer goes from piano ballads such as Cellophane to the electronic music influences on Eusexua, her third album released in January, which garnered universal acclaim from both audience and critics, including a five-star review in the Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. The album was a result of several years of work, and it was received with a fascinated critical response and followed by a tour in Europe and North America. FKA twigs is known as a musical multitalent, but also a great live performer, whose mutable stage presence and imagination have been compared to names like David Bowie and Björk. She has won several awards for her music videos, and recently she played one of the main roles in Rupert Sanders’ movie The Crow.
