Berlin-based producer and DJ Danilo Plessow takes a wide, holistic approach to music, which he showcases through his Motor City Drum Ensemble project, his DJ wizardry, and more recently, through his record label Space Grapes—one of the hottest emerging labels in contemporary analogue disco music. Plessow is the engineer and producer of bands Another Taste and Jeroboam, who have released praised records on Space Grapes, and a few years ago he also got the opportunity to host his own radio show for Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM. This year Plessow is busy DJ’ing in clubs and festivals in the fields of both electronic and organic music, mostly in Central Europe but also as far as Singapore.
