Bicep is the duo of Belfast-born childhood friends Andrew Ferguson and Matthew McBriar, gaining loyal listeners with their melancholic, trance- and breakbeat-influcenced electronic music already for fifteen years. Their biggest hit, Glue, was released in 2017 on their praised debut album, and the following album Isles also got a very positive response in 2021.
Bicep started in 2008 as a blog presenting Italo disco, house, and disco rarities, but with the success of their music, the duo has since concentrated on performing in festivals such as Primavera, Coachella and Glastonbury. Recently Bicep has been working on their multidisciplinary project CHROMA, a record label, event series and evolving live audiovisual show.
