Lauratimantti

Lauratimantti, also known by her real name Laura Lehtinen, is an illustrator and visual artist. She works extensively on a variety of visual projects and as Flow Festival’s designer, creating some of the visual content and concepts for the festival area. Lehtinen has studied illustration in Barcelona and visual arts in Helsinki and Turku. In addition to illustrations and paintings, Lehtinen’s work consists of murals and installations in urban spaces, and her colourful works can be seen on building facades, skateboards, clothing collections, restaurants, and offices. She has created art and commissioned works both alone and as part of a team around the world.

Flow Festival will feature several works designed by Lehtinen, such as the container installation “All I Need Is Peace” and the kissing booths in the X Garden. Lehtinen also designed the iconic Flow letters, which are updated every year and will delight festival visitors now for the seventh time. Lehtinen will be joined by fashion designer and designer Eetu Kemppainen, to create the visual content for the Flow area. He has been particularly involved in the creation of the Flow letters and the works on display at X Garden. Kemppainen’s work explores the intersection of traditional and modern design across a wide range of fashion and textiles, as well as set and space design. His aesthetic, inspired by shapes, colours, and textures, is an experimental blend of new and old.

In addition to her own works, Lehtinen also curates the Urban Art collection on display at Flow Festival. Works by 19 artists will be on display around the festival area throughout the weekend. Find out more about the artists here.
